'What are you doing here?'

A common question asked to me in the last two months after I decided that needed to go ahead with my life after being calm (Bcom) for 3 years in terms of becoming a MBA or in terms of even working for a reputed company. (I presume that you have read my earlier post about communication)The first question anybody would ask me is why didn't you look to take up cricket as your career?
If I would have been good enough obviously, what I am doing here attending an interview answering questions which my 12 year old nephew could? The big question was whether I was good enough to scale the heights, was there enough quality, substance, perseverance, determination and all those extra terrestrial qualities required to make it. I still don’t know what essential qualities is actually required since every single time I ask a guy who has made it, all of them have views which is very unique & contrasting to other’s and that’s why I call them extra terrestrial.
From the bottom of my heart I think I had all these, yet why didn't I continue (professionally), a big question remained unanswered for sometime. Guess it's the time to open out since I just couldn't hold it inside anymore.
I know it's the life which everyone expects themselves to be in, an Indian cricketer, Wow! How does that sound? Doesn’t it sound awesome? It’s ok in the process you don't make a peanut, even though at least you have represented your country. True I accept the greatness involved in representing one's country, doesn't really mean you need to carry a rifle around, visit exotic places, meet new people and shot them to save your country, the only tag which is attached to representing your country. I regard if you represent India playing Kabbadi (don't know whether they have an Indian team), it's a big thing. One can't get more pleasure (must be saying satisfaction) than representing his country. After this also why? What's it at the back of my mind? What is that dark side the heading refers to?

According to me dark side refers to the side which is unexposed to the outside world but you know all about it, the side which everyone has and goes through realizing it someday. Like the big question of lazy geek, a self realisation? Incarnation of god. So you have to go through those faces of life & you will. The biggest question is still that whether I can really call it a dark side or it’s just more to do with some big decision taken by everyone in our life’s and we are just still thinking about the decision & considering the probability of errors if we would have considered other opinions.
